Askold ....GREAT Photos!!!
Have NO Idea about the Shoulder Boards, but the answer should be very revealing!
Love those Schuma / Polizei items! ...Txs, Dave/dblmed

Already found the answer - these are the boards that were officially issued to Polish police in German service, but it seems would be also utilised by the Ukrainians. Here are the pics:

Quite amazing photos, as they show us TR Period uniform combinations - which few might accept today, without there being Photos, as proof.
I have read (? Somewhere) that some Poles, who 'volunteered' to serve with Germany, were placed in the Polizei / Schuma - and they served in Galicia.
Seems that Galicia was historically an area which traded places / changed hands many times in history. Minsk is also very proximate to this area. Rather fascinating. ..... Txs, Dave/dblmed

Askold, It's VERY intersting photo in all aspects! Is this photo dated? What unit?
P.S. Be careful with this Littlejohn's book - it is out of date a bit, and there are many inaccuracies and mistakes!
