Well (as usual) I am having second thoughts about selling my dagger. Even if it meets the reserve I guess I am feeling some attachment to it. I would like to learn more from a reference book about SS Daggers. I know Tom W. came out with a multi volume reference set recently. Is this pretty much the latest and most complete? If so, would it be necessary to buy all volumes (I think there are 4?).
Thanks,
Mike

To date I believe it to be the "definitive" reference on SS edged weapons. It is available as a single volume. Personally I would keep it if it were mine. Money comes & goes but when that has gone it`s gone for good. Also edged weapons have consistently out-performed any savings account. JMO.
War is when your government tells you who the enemy is. Revolution is when you figure it out for yourself.

Many Thanks - I wanted to check before buying. Mike

There is really only one current reference and that is the book by Tom Wittmann. Click on the link below. http://www.wwiidaggers.com/REFTTW.htmYou can buy any or all the books. Call (856) 866- 8733 between about 11:00AM and 3:00PM EST. Other books cover SS daggers to a lesser degree. One of Tom Johnson's books has a good chapter, but it was co-authored by Tom Wittmann and is nowhere near as complete as the book. Dave

And, I would keep the dagger. It is not going to down in value.
