M-42sd, ckl64, manufactured during the period when ET/ckl applied a finish which contained a texturing medium somewhat larger than what we expect from this manufacturer. Paint has worn from the outer surface of the texturing medium to produce the speckled effect seen here. Confused

In a blatant attempt to draw-out a certain item from a certain fellow...Razz Razz Razz...please accept this contribution to the current line-up;

HR M-35dd, ET64, 1938-dated dome stamp and linerband, 1937-dated chinstrap. Interesting additional domestamp in the form of a 3/8" tall purple 'R'.

We shall see if my little ploy succeeds in luring a very special helmet to this thread. Razz Razz Razz
