Nice jacket. I had one that I thought was the police winter jacket but it turned out to be the almost identical wartime Hungarian Army jacket. One of the tip-offs was the brown plastic buttons and the drawstrings.
Here is my old Hungarian jacket. Luckily, I was able to return this jacket when I discovered my mistake.

Joe, Interesting reversible jacket and thanks for posting! I've always been on the watch for one of those as there is just something about them that I find so intriguing! Anyhow, are there any markings?

Dave, Yes ther are some marks on the flap of that cover the buttons.But they are not readable..
Bill , Nice tunic , I especially the birds on the wall.
