Hello All, as suggested by Skyline, I will start a new thread and re-phrase my query. Of the known manufacturers who produced "substantial" quantities of '33 S/S daggers, which 3 would be considered the rarest? In other words, is there a "McSaar" for S/S daggers? Regards, Leipzig

Yes there is a rarity guide for the early maker-marked M1933 SS daggers that I have put together. Not named yet. Maybe "McDave" ? Big GrinBig Grin

Dave, I asked what I consider to be a perfectly legitimate question and I get humor. Confused

Leipzig,

You asked if there was a rarity list and I answered.

As for the rest, define "substantial" and which period of production you mean and your question can be answered.

Dave,

How about calling your rarity list "HohauSS" Wink

Hohaus order of highly abundant to un-common SS

Leipzig,

When you say substantial, what do you mean?

Known, there are a couple Pumas. One Louper.

ASSO is pretty rare - but they aren't impossible to find... is that what you're asking?
