Hi, I did recently get from private sale this Honor Ring. Name is Schtt issued 20.4.36 (verified two Schtt did get the ring before that date). I would like to get all the possible opinion, is real or fake?

Hi Alagiaa, welcome to the forum.. I believe Rob and I gave you a good fair assessment of the ring..It is a fake. A nice fake but still a fake..Please take a good look and the many fine originals shown here on this forum. Study them and you'll see the subtle differences that make your ring a reproduction.. ,G.

Hi Alagiaa,
I would stand by my previous thoughts as well. Despite all that's been said already about this ring I don't even have to say the ring is an outright fake. Whether it is a fake or not isn't even the question anymore. The question is whether a ring of questionable veracity is worth the $1200 you paid for it.
I know you stated you wished to keep the ring but you should consider this. Say at some point in the future you find yourself wishing to or needing to sell the ring to recoup your funds. You'll have a much more difficult time selling something that presents so many honest questions of authenticity, it's too much cash to p1ss away on something that in all likelihood you would be stuck with, if only to prove the piece is genuine. Since the seller is so willing to return your purchase price, you should take advantage of that option before he changes his mind. Put that $1200 toward an unquestionably authentic ring. It's just my opinion but I hate seeing collectors get stuck.
