I bought a 2nd. model Luftwaffe dagger. Later I noticed that the bottom of the handle is larger than the ferulle ring. I compared the handle with another Luftwaffe handle and they were the same size. I also compared the ferulle ring with another one and they also were exactly the same. But I can still seen the lines on the bottom of the handle where a larger ring must have been used at one time. Also they show(lines) when I assemble back the dagger. Can anyone solve my problem or provide information on this matter?

A fat bulbous grip on a 2nd Luft is a trait observed in some Spanish copies in my experience Usually white plastic material often with the spiral going the wrong way
