Gentlemen, I'm very pleased to show you my first Waffenrock dress tunic. This NCO Infantery waffenrock was privately tailored as showned by the beautiful embroidered breast eagle, collar tabs and sleaves cuff tabs. The fabric is also made of quality fine wool and is in a perfect condition. I couldn't be happier and will certainly expand my collection in the near future. The fact that these dress tunics were copied from the Imperial dress uniforms era, makes it even more desirable to me.

Hello Pat,
That is a wonderful looking Waffenrock. I'm mostly an edged weapons collector as well and at the moment only own one Waffenrock as well. It is an Infantry officers Waffenrock.
Since we are on the subject, let me take this opportunity to put in a huge plug for an outstanding new book that I purchased at the recent Show of Shows. The book is called "Waffenrock: Parade Uniforms of the German Army". The authors are Timothy J. Curley and Neil G. Stewart. Both of them were at the SOS selling copies of the book.
The photography in the book is absolutely phenomenal. It contains hundreds of detailed photos of a variety of different Waffenrocks from the various branches of the Army. If anyone has any interest at all in Waffenrocks I highly recommend that you get a copy of this book.
Thanks, Doug

End result, complete. Don't even know if this waffenrock has been worned more than a few times, as it is completely mint.

Pat, Just wanted to add my congratulations for finding such a nice uniform, she's a beauty, eh? Your great snaps really bring it to life and do it the proper justice that it truly deserves, well done! And on top of all that it comes from a regiment that my father served in for a while back then, though, from '42-45. Nice!! Regards, Bill

Woaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, that's really cool Bill, what a coincidence that your father served in the same Regiment.
