Just wanted to show a nice estate purchased schutzpolizei helmet that I recently bought from the vets nephew. It came with the photos and the vet had told his nephew the photos were of the helmets owner, they are police photos , the helmet is named and one of the pictures has a date and some writing. If anyone can read the name in the helmet or translate the photo caption that would be great. Can't seem to locate any for sale so if someone can shed some light as to the value that would be great also.

Thats a fine looking helmet and not that common ,I wonder if the Vet shot the Policeman then went through his pockets and nicked the photos as well ,unless the Policeman said here take my helmet and my family photos ,anyway I would say a bit more say $400 .Rob
