Hi all , thoughts please on this one.Although is has had some serious buffing all over, a re etched motto over the original , and a repainted scabbard, the knife to me seems original . The diamond looks okay, as does the scabbard. Not sure as to whether you normally have the makers name (klaas) on one side , and the RZM code on the other. I have heard of transitional marks , but I thought they were usually on the same side of the blade. Thoughts please !

Klaas used up so much of reverse ricasso with trademark they had to put the RZM on front ricasso. You see this every so often with other makers also. Remember these manufacturers were there to make the mark. Russ

Interesting, I have never seen a motto re-etched like that! Talk about deep! Have seen the two sided makers marks though. Kevin.
It's ALL in the DETAILS!!.......
