Hey Guys,
Can anyone tell me whether this blade looks good? I`ve compared it to pics in Wittmann`s book on luft daggers, but just cant seem to make up my mind Confused

Your comments would be greatly appreciated!!

Cheers,
Dion

IMO nothing wrong with this blade.
I have the P.D. Krebs Army dagger - Not many of them around.

Hi Walter,

Thanks for the opinion. Thats one scarce dagger you have there, judging from Wittmann`s book, he does`nt even make mention that PD Krebs even manufactured Army daggers!! The strange thing is though, if you read up in Wittmann`s book on Luft daggers, he shows a couple of pics of this maker, but once again, does`nt mention the maker in his list of manufacturers?? Although we all know they exsist!

But coming back to the pic, if you look at the one I posted, it does`nt seem to have the burnishing to the etching like yours does?
Hence the reason for asking the question in the first place. Yours is without doubt, the exact same as the ones pictured in wittmann`s book. Mine on the otherhand, looks a little crude?
Does anyone know whether the PD Krebs TM was ever faked??

Cheers,
Dion

Is it your blade?
I think the photo was taken with flash lamp and if you use the flash, the burnishing will disappear on the photo.
If there's NO burnishing at all ... well, I wouldn't like it.
However I didnt hear about fakes P.D. Krebs blades lets wait for the experts opinions.

Hey Rich,

Congrats on getting that blade!! Unlucky for me, most of the US auctions close when I`m very far away in dream land!! Roll Eyes
I have to bid 3-4 hours before, when I`m hitting the sack!!

Thanks all, for those comments. Wink

Cheers,
Dion
