Gentlemen,

I've just received this waffenrock belt and buckle and would like to have your opinion on whether or not, it is authentic.
Much appreciated !
First, the buckle is a two piece peddle aluminum type with the correct reverse attachment.
What I'm mostly worried about, is the leather belt itself, not so much the buckle. Confused

It reads on the leather tab, though I'm not certain, "De Valk Adam 1942".

Hey Patrice!
It sure looks unissued. I'm not an expert on these, but the quality, sewing, and stampings look good. The color and the texture of the leather looks good to me too. Having said that, I've seen some modern made K-98 combat black frogs that are dead on reproductions. Let's see if anyone else has a definitive answer.

Best, John

Hello Pat,

IMO nothing wrong with both the items : mint unissued original.
Anyway the belt is a mid war combat type usually issued with a steel buckle.

Best

Ric

I was wondering, how do you tell the difference between an Army parade belt and a regular Army combat enlisted type ? Confused

Danke.

Hello Pat,

enclosed 3 pics showing the main features of a German dress/parade belt, I hope it's of some help.
