Gentlemen,

I would like an opinion on the authenticity of this particular NSKK 1st type crash helmet.
The reason why I'm asking, is because I have never seen this type of leather chinstrap before on any NSKK crash helmet.
You usually see the vertical protective half-moon shaped leather chinstrap on these.

Perhaps there were other variables but I don't know.

Thank you !

Is it complete Confused I don't see the top pad Confused , the cushion you're supposed to see attached inside to the top of the lining.

I was trying to post a picture of the "cushion" but I get the following error message: There was an FTP (file transfer) error. The detail is 'Upload to '/testdir/test.txt' failed. Detail: '552 Transfer aborted. Disk quota exceeded
''.

PATRICE-
I HAVE OWNED MANY OF THIS TYPE HELMET OVER THE YEARS AND HAVE ALSO NEVER ENCOUNTERED THIS FORM OF NON REGULATION EAR COVER AND CHIN STRAP. MY GUESS IS THIS PIECE ALSO WOULD NOT HAVE A RZM TAG. MY THOUGHTS ARE THIS IS A PERIOD CIVILIAN STURZHELM WITH THE NSKK/SA FORM OF EAGLE ADDED. THERE IS STILL A PLETHERA OF THIS HELMET AVAILABLE IN THE MARKET PLACE THAT CONFORM TO THE STANDARD PATTERN. I WOULD NOT INVEST IN THIS PIECE.
