Paul

According to Kai Winkler the show has been canceled. Received an email from him on his price reductions and it stated there that the show was off. Haven't checked any further. Jim

I managed to make one day of the show (Friday). Didn't have the bar set very high - looking for cased examples of both the Hindenburg Crosses for non-combatants and next-of-kin - and found both. The show was small, but there was quite a bit of nice stuff there...lots of Allach and Imperial items as well as a decent selection of TR goodies.

Another good thing about being in Stuttgart was the outstanding Rommel exhibit at a museum in town. They had several uniform items, lots of personal effects and his Pour le Merit, RK,diamonds document, Interim staff and Field Marshall's baton - very cool!

Glad I didn't make a special trip, but also glad I was able to go.

Best,
Skip

The Rommel family owns a hotel near the military base which is interesting as they have the family tree and I believe (don't remember) a picture of Rommel painted on the wall. I stayed there way back in 1989 when I was in the military. Jim
