Jamie that is a nice example! This should be an interesting thread. What makers are usually found on these types? Anyone know.

Thank you gentlemen, I think this was a $50.00 ebay find a few years ago. I have no idea about the makers of these.

I only have 1 EKI and 1 EKII. I'm not sure on the EKII so let me know what you think about it.

How do you tell a Shinckleform EK from the normal EK? Thanks Jim
Looking for EKI spanges, first model intermediate and second model L/12.

Jim take a look at the cross arms. I think the Shinckleform crosses date back to WW1, maker = Shinckle. = Shinckleform
Outstanding Ray.

Joe,, I think the EK is the iconic piece for representing military collecting. Something about them,,when your a kid and see your first one you just automatically like it! When I was younger and surfing [or trying!] all the cool older guys wore 'Surfer' crosses! Little black enamel EKs they'd wear on a chain usually accompanied with a lightning bolt or a Peace symbol.... I've always liked them.. Had a few real nice examples,,,but they went out with the tide.. Did manage to save a nice bagged one,,and another with a Viking ship pinned on it. [its been shown before here]. And, I have a couple ground dug ones.. - * They've become their own speciality. Monographs, chapters, complete giant text books just on them! Sometimes I wish I did just specialize in them! Maybe next time around Come on members!!, anyone have an interesting EK to show us?? Your nicest mintiest, frosted, massive EK you own,,come on we want to see it!
