Swastika ring

As you can see, you cant overlook the large enamelled swastika on the front. The ring is molded and has a proper 835 silvermark on the inside of the band.
Close-ups shows some molding aspects and the ring has treat and wear marks.
Original or not, the ringstyle, with the big twirls, goes back on the Celtic bracelets with the knots.
Im interested in your opinion.

benten, for me this would be a pre war or early war piece. That swastika since it is the central focus would be and should be dead on, not the slightest tilt or off center. Also, is it deep enamel?, some of these copies have an imitation neillo on them.
German manufacturing techniques for enamel had a deep bed, roughened up to hold the enamel better.
Sorry, I am overly critical and photos can sometimes be deceiving that's why I'm asking...thanks, G.

Hi, Gaspare. It's good to hear from you. You have to be critcal; that's good.
If I've understand you correct.
-The swastika is not a bit tilt, the horizontal and vertical axis are correct in relation to the front border. The twists aside are mirrored to eachother; left big twist goes twistup, right the big twist goes down. If you look frontal it looks a-symetrical (Celtic).

-Do you mean that the swastika should be in the center of a square instead of a rectangle front like this ring has ( good point!)?.. Ive seen that geometric art dco rings have this. This twisted style I dont know because I have never seen rings like this for comparison.

The enamel is deep; there is a deep chip in the centre of the swastika, no traces of fracture .
As you see, the wearer of the ring has handled it rather rough ; but the enamel didnt break out to the bottem.

Gaspare, I hope that I have given you the info you asked for.
Thanks.

Benten
