I just scored this US Navy WWII WIA PH grouping. The sailor was on the Carrier Suwanee, that saw action both in the ETO and PTO and they were hit by Kamikazes. Neat grouping. Getting harder to find like this these days.

Hi Jerry- Nice groupping you got there. Did you get these directly from the family and do you know if this guy is still surviving? Makes me wonder how families can give stuff like this up after all the recipient went through to get them. Besides the purple heart what are the other awards in the photo? Thanks

There was his named Navy GCM, and the ETO, PTO, American Theater, and WWII Victory medals.
It is always hard when a family sells the medals, but sadly to many, it is just "old stuff" with no real understanding of the history behind it.
