Hi I want to learn opinion of professional collectors about these two vertical hangers. Whether there are at them any red flags? On one of them there is inscription SS 19/38 RZM, on the other there are no inscriptions. The second hanger intended for SS or for NSKK?

I don't like the look or the texture of the leather in the first one. The second one is a pre-RZM unofficial model and could be for the NSKK but probably for the SS Model 33.

The second hanger looks real. One of those pre-RZM ones.

I agree with what was mentioned above, don't buy the 1st one! The second is OK depending on the price. Best Wishes, Bob

I agree the first one is bad, but wow, they are getting better at faking these. I imagine with better stampings and maybe 20 years of age they will be difficult to tell from original ones. After all, if they could make them back in the 1930's, they can make them now, especially if there is good money in it to make it worth their while to do a precise knock-off.
