I like Transitionals. They were only around for a short time and IMO deserve a little more attention than they get.

Maybe a nice "Show you're Transitionals" Thread would be good.

Hi, Mario.

Good to meet you last year at the MAX show.

From what I see in the photos, the blade has been cleaned. Look at the crossgrain, scratches, and soft edges to the motto.

Hi Dave
Yes it was a good time at the Max last year, Off to the SOS this year.
Hunting for that SS chained Dagger.
Anyhow I do agree the blades looks to have been polished, Do you think its a wise purchase or just keep looking for a untouched NSKK chained?

hi mario, does the nskk blade belongs to a chained dagger? you wrote, you wanted to keep on looking for another chained one.
in this case it would be wise to look at the chain much more that after the dagger, but i think it is a missunderstanding...

Yes that was a chained NSKK I was looking at, I have decided to keep looking. I agree with Dave that the blade has been cleaned.
Oh yes I am looking for a Chained SS 36 with type 2 chain also.
