I'd like to post this piece up for discussion, I've had it about 10 years and have always thought it very early in the 3rd Reich period, possibly as early as late 1934. It's the only DJ piece I have seen with this stamped mark. I have seen a couple bayonets and a late Weimar Navy at one time.Anybody else seen an edged weapon with this mark.

Close up, you can see the depth of the stamping here, it's a very neat and fine mark.

I found the same mark on a Luft2 that I purchased in the past year out of Germany.
Here is the mark:
Always looking for Eickhorns and etched bayonets.

On the Obverse was a distributor mark as well.
I think that this Horster mark is kinda neat, myself.
