Very nice... I really like the NS items, and they look in fantastic condition.

I, too, collect Norwegian NS and SS items. And, I am very impressed.

Thanks! for comments Smile
The three medals at the top of the first photo are different versions of the "Tapper and Tro" (in English; "Brave and Loyal" NS medals.) Most likely never issued by the NS government, but some disagree.. Wink
Thank you John Smile I’ve seen the pictures of your Norwegian collection and you have some very nice items! Smile
I hope you are able to see the pictures now Carlos1 Wink

A very impressive display. These Norwegian relics are very intriguing to me.

Is the edelweiss insignia frontkemper as well?

Yes the edelweiss is the standard SS mountain trooper edelweiss also used by some of the Norwegian units, like the 2. SS police company that served in Finland in 1943-44.

Here is a picture of this unit from my collection, taken in Oslo a couple of days after they returned from Finland.

If you look closely you will see that most of the soldiers in the picture is also wearing the Nordfront cross.
Here is a closeup of my cross. One of my favourite badges out there.. Wink

Thanks Trond Wink

I will try to take some pictures of other items from my collection later and make some new post.
In the meantime here is a close-up of my latest acquisition to my NS and Frontkjemper collection not shown in the picture above; an NSUF shooting badge in silver...not perfect, but these are very hard to get hold of in any condition.

Thanks for comments about my "bits and pieces" Wink
I will try to make some new posts later on, as i hopefully will expand my collection further.
In the meantime here is a pic of a little NS badge not shown in the picture above.
It was issued at the Norwergian Hitlerjugend exhibition held in Oslo in 1941..it does not have a needle and is as far as i know the only "polett" issued under the NS collaboration regime.

This is a wonderful collection and I find it both interesting a stimulating to see the diversity of interests with regard to collectors from other countries. Very nice to see!
