I just bought this dagger from the veterans niece as of last week. This was bought on my last hotel buy, the stuff is still out there you just have to dig for it. Handle is ivory, I do not believe my pictures show the ivory swirls, but they are there. Overall the whole dagger is mint. Thanks Bob

Good for you Bob! Glad to see you get a gem that you can really appreciate after all your hard work! But you might want to price index your collection for your daughter just in case something happens to you, heaven forbid!Don't want her to be taken by some shyster!

Thanks for the kind words about the dagger. I have taken pictures of my collection along with a price list, so hopefully she will use that has a tool, in case i do kick the bucket. Bob

I think Bob is a little more heads up than to be taken by a shyster, though to some degree we all need to keep our guard up.

I have been buying from veterans and their families for years. I never thought an emil voos engraved dagger would walk thru the door, naturally i always hope for an engraved blade when i pull the dager out of the scabbard to examine the blade. About 18 years ago i did buy a luger an a emil voos engraved 2nd luft, but ended up selling both items, wish I would have kept the 2nd luft.Just to say guys, the good stuff is still out there, but most of it has slipped into the hands of the veterans relatives. thanks Bob See you at the SOS, i will have a table, stop a say hello.

That is one to stick in the bank box, Bob. It will appreciate nicely and outperform any CD. PS - I upped you to a badge for over 5000 posts. The ONLY Premium 5000+ badge. "Reichsfuhrer Premium SS" ??
