Sometimes all that looking pays off.
Both are marked C&J
Both are to the same competition but one year apart.
Awarded for a shooting competition,
1st Schiesklasse and 2nd Schiessklasse means 1st and 2nd in a specific catorgary of shooting competition, it may have been with a rifle, pistol or even machine gun.
They were awarded within the 6th Company(Gebirgsj�ger Battalion) of the 9th Infantry Regiment.
I bought them 3 years apart both at the SOS shows.

I was lucky enough to see Gary's catch at this year's show, and, it is even more gorgeous in hand than any pictures that you will see.
