Hey Guys,
Im looking for bit of help. Over the years I have stayed away from cloth items since they have burned me a few times. I have an opportunity to buy most if not all of these visors, flags, etc. I think most are reasonably priced but the SS and the Panzer ones are expensive in comparison to the rest.
Im going to see the seller tomorrow and would like a crash course in Visor/head gear RED FLAGS..
What are key things to look for? Items that should be there or not?
I have my black light... What else do I need?
I have bought 3 visors from this seller before and sold them here and the buyers were very happy with them and I even gave a 14 day return since I wanted to make sure they were happy with them since I know next to nothing about them.
I have included these pics of some of the ones I saw a few months ago.
What ballpark are some of these items selling from other collectors? Ive seen a few on dealer sites but that is not what I consider collector retail HAHA
Any and all comments welcome GOOD BAD OR UGLY
Sorry the first few pics are VERY SMALL but the others are OK
Thanks in advance..

The Jaeger and the signals are issue em/nco caps and good. The medic I am not sure, I havent seen 1 with grommet before. Luft officer looks good to me, but get another opinion. The piped SS scares me. The Kriegs marine would have to see insides first. o/s cap not my thing. See if you can get stonemint to check these out. the other pictures to small. Hope this helps a little.

Hi Heer caps look okay for the most part...Luft officers is good but both insignia have been reapplied...most definately the adler(eagle) has...stay away from the SS Officer's cap.....nothing good about it...political cap looks good from a distance....Luft officers worth about $1100 in this condition...Heer caps vary...but average between $400 and $600 dependant upon piping and condition...Kreis if authentic $1000 to $1300....Officer's overeas cap (wedge) $450 to $550 if soutache is period...hope you get them for a good price...but avoid the SS caps....not a good deal if you have to take the bad with the good and pay a hefty price for all...cheers, Ryan

Panzer might be okay but insignia appears to have been "added" adler does look funky...if it is period $1500 and higher....but it will need restoration of insignia and this affects value...The naval caps of which you speak are not particularly valuable or desireable unless they have a significant ship's tally...although they do not turn up with frequency anymore...cheers, Ryan

Hi Guys,
Well, I struck a deal with the seller and did get the Panzer, Political and Luft.
Some nice surprises came when I got them home.
The Political still has the RZM tag, the Luft is dated and both the sweatband and top are PRIVAT EREL marked
Here are some shots. Once I get some good info I may decide what to do with them.
thanks

If this eagle on the panzer is bad someone went to a lot of trouble. None of the stitching glows and on the inside there are no threads visable so they had to take the whole thing apart to stitch the eagle and not the liner??
