Fleamarket You have a very nice Eickhorn pattern 1212, it's a forestry hirschfnger from the mid to late 1930's. The knot and frog are correct for this dagger. The knot is for junior ranks as is the hirschfnger, most junior hirschfngers just have the fluted clamshell, yours is a more deluxe type and very nice to see. You do see these patterns with deluxe scabbard fittings on rare occasions. It looks in very nice condition, value with the frog and knot around $1500-$2000.

Thanks Gary. I am surprised at the value, but very pleased. Regards.
