The whole dagger looks untouched and original. Never saw a dealer cause you wouldn't have gotten that wonderful scarce teardrop leather hanger with it. Congratulations! -serge-

Hi Great dagger...don't think that anyone is questioning the authenticity of the paint but perhaps commenting on the condition? I think that the condition of the paint is great and I also like the age and spidering...great dagger and a fantastic teardrop as well as mentioned...congrats!!!! Ryan

Correct. I don't doubt the paint is original, just not in the nice condition the rest of the exterior is. Not a great detraction, though.
