Hi guys can someone offer an opinion on what a fair market price is for an older nicely done deactivated MP40 and MP44? I just picked up a well done MG 34 from the same chap for $800 numbers matching and with all bluing.thanks and cheers

Normally I'd say $1000-$1200 for either, but if you got a MG34 for $800, proportionally $600-800 would be fair!

YOU get much less up here but 800 for a nice dewat mg 34 is a great deal any day

Yes, Canada seems to have different price points for dewats..

Not as popular here for the collectors, but a few tend to hoard!

One gentleman near me has 9 MP-40's!

Your deactivated MP44 would go for about $1200 in my area in very good condition. Check the current Hermann Historica Auction- several MP44s are listed and their valuations may give you some indication of value.

I know, it's odd..I had an MP-40 sit on my table for nearly a year's worth of shows at $700.00 Canadian.

It finally sold in a package for around $500.00
