Like most here, my collection is always in the process of growing, and sometimes shrinking.
Most stuff here is my core, I doubt if I'll ever get rid of the things seen here, more than likely I'll add to it.
Almost everything that I have ever sold I have regretted.
Some may think it a bit tacky to just display stuff on a table & VCR, but space is at a premium in my room. I like the contrast of the NS items against black, especially the velvet.
One negative thing about this is the dust, doesn't take them long to get dusted up, so I have to dust everything one by one every so often.
Just did that, so I thought I'd post a few pics, while they are still presentable.
I got quite a bit more stashed away, right now I don't want my room festooned with NS items, as my daughters and sometimes their friends sometimes come in and I don't want them getting the wrong impression of me, as is easy to do these days.
So this little display works out for me well.

Only item that I'm pretty sure is fake is the Sub badge, everything else is legit.
Maybe I'll post some shots of it to make sure, I'd be pleasantly surprised if it was legit.

Nice collection Skynyrd!! And I third that about regretting sales. Especially when a year later its worth $100 more. Big Grin But honestly I kick myself in the butt over all the stuff I've sold off in the past and I wish I had some back now too. Like Skynyrd said about a core of items, I have one to. Mostly family items and some meaningful vet acquired stuff. You just can't buy the stories you know. Once there gone so is the story. Frown The only memory of my friend Hans is a audio cassettes and his Iron Cross w/award document. If I sold stuff like that the stories just don't transfer well. Not to mention its like selling a friend off, well to me it is anyways. Frown

I really like your display. It is compact but at the same time there is such a lot to look at.
those SA daggers look VERY choice; nice grips!
It appears a casual display but obviously they have been arranged with great care & pride.

Well done!

As for what other people may think of my interests?

I really can`t think of anything that is of less consequence to me.

I believe we have all sold off something when short to get funds for that moments desire for something else. I have & although I do enjoy the new toy I have lived to regret it bitterly. It is not something that I shall do ever again. Two beautiful luft dagger rigs I let go have proven to be irreplaceable.

And, it is the personal VCR used by Heinrich Himmler himself!

I got that from a very good authority or something like one.

The fabled "HH SS VCR" ?
You're kidding ! All this time, the NS holy grail sitting right under my nose like that, I had no clue.
I knew that mystical runic symbol on the tape door must have had some kind of meaning.

Maybe I'll see if old Synder is interested in it, would be a fine compliment to Eva panties.
