I believe for a Sch�tzen K�nig,(the shooting king) the badge I believe to be from the St Sebastianus shooting club from near Dusseldorf.

Gary, Do you by chance have an umlaut in the title of your photos? Believe it or not the forums don't take to foreign punctuation marks, really!  Try renaming the photos to plain English and it'll work.  Best! W~

St.Sebastian is the patron saint of soldiers.I am not sure this is a shooting award per se.Most shooting awards are for one year, never the carry over year.
This was made to commemorate something ( by ex soldiers, veterans group/club) and with the crown placed so prominently, It might even have been an honourary of some sort, a sort of rotating honorific.
It is interesting..
