The maker I was talking to you about at the SOS is Hugo Servatius Solingen... Sun and flying bird trademark.I have fireman's bayonet paper work with pictures. Have you seen this??? Export mark is two frogs... Regards: James Brown P.S. Paper work is from 1937-38

Please post a scan or two of the paperwork, I'd love to see it myself. Did you see an actual bayonet with the mark or a catalogue reference? I've never seen a fireman's bayonet with this mark.

Thanks for the info. That is a new one for me. Its interesting that the export TM is so different from there standard TM. I guess the bird TM has been seen on SA daggers. I guess this is another one I must find. Thanks for the info. A pleasure to meet and talk to you.

Ron W. told me many years ago that there so many TM's it would be hard to collect them all, guess I should have listen to him.

The twin frogs is really for there flatware line.. I missed that when I posted the 1st time. There is really 3 total trademarks shown. one on the front with bayonet Bird and sun than two on the back of paper....
