Value would be around $600, they seem to sell well on bay. It is definatley post war,I'd say this one is from the 1970's but these were made from the late 1940's onwards.

Wes Thats a very good price for a modern hirschfänger. A lot of people do think these are of the WWII vintage and some are if they have a stamped mark and not etched mark like the one posted has.
