The Type 10 Japanese Flare gun production numbers were suspected to be at 8300. At least in the current collector talk ( and books) that I'm aware of anyway. I own number 8264. That was suspected to the highest number known. I had my doubts but..... So now that I have more time in one aspect and way less time in another I contacted the guys at Banzi Newsletter aka Banzi online and was in process of a little write up on my pistol. One of the guys who run the Banzi emailed me back a short term me ago saying that another member had number 8353. So if anyone wants to update a reference the suspected production numbers do indeed go past 8300 pieces. Again I'm sure little interest but a FYI. Nobody is keeping track of type 10 serial numbers either.
