I was hoping we could get collectors to show their Field Marshall series swords!

I admit after seeing Wotans Eickhorn Prinz Eugen unissued
sword it sorta stuck with me!

I must admit if thats the only group I had it would work! grin

But even though I don't expect another please post yours!

I will post some pics later!

Hope Wotan posts that stunning Eickhorn!

I see Craig Gottlieb has a Prinz Eugen up for sale in auction!

Here is some pics! I think the Prinz Eugen is a stunning sword!

I know Mr Fabulous had a stunning sword collection and hopes he comments on the Field marshall series!

Not up to Wotan's engraved PE show stopper! But nice to be able to show another, with all the shipping material still intact.

Just when you think its not possible to show more outstanding
swords! shocked

Barry

I find it unbelievable to see unissued again!

I am amazed how it survived and would love to hear the story on how you and Wotan managed to pry it away from someone!

Gerrit1963

Thats a very nice looking sword! Condition is fabulous!

Thanks for sharing!

Damast

Only you could pull this out but I should have known!

Damascus blade!

If you could get a close up!

Tell us about it! Has to be rare!

Thanks to all and please add more of the series!

I miss the two swords. I traded them away for something really great at the last MAX show. One more picture with a huge Imperial.

Beautiful! That huge Imperial is a stunning looking sword!

If you traded them it must have been the bomb what you got!

Thanks for sharing !

If John Z doesn't have a Eickhorn Prinz Eugen like those shown I would be shocked!

He loves Eickhorn and these shown are stunning!

Better hide them! grin

sorry, I registrated this thread very late...

@ pvon, yes, there are 9 models. But the proper Name is not "Field-Marshal series" as eg. Prinz Eugen never was a field marshal but correctly the "Commanders -Serie" (Feldherren-Serie).
Also at least one model (the "Roon") has two different kinds of the languet.

@ Bary Brown, wonderful, equal quality twin. What makermark does it have, the 33-41 or the later "squirrel looking over the shoulder"? and as the stamp says "DAMASZIERT" I think the blade is also etched.

Regards,

To save the one picture for future times to understand the remark. And yes, a lot of more pics would be needed.
