Rare to see one of these offered. Schuster is listed in Wittmanns Naval book as a recipient and the provenance would seem strong for the dagger. Starting bid of 70,000 Euros(plus 29.5% Buyers fee). Lot #1740 if my link does not work. www.hermann-historica.de/en/auctions/lot/id/1301049Images are not bad but I suspect at this level a buyer would want to examine it first hand.

Hammer price for this cetain navy dagger is 115.000 EUR. Btw this auction did set some new benchmarks, an honor ring for about 35.000 EUR (incl. %) and an SSlionshead saber for around 175000 EUR (incl.%)...... I got some feedback from other collectors who do think the world did become crazy. Personally I only think that there is too much money around. Regards,
