You need to post better pictures: close ups of the eagle on the scabbard, the maker mark on the blade, ... etc. If you want to authenticate it.
You never have enough HJ-knifes!

The maker mark is not clearly shown.
But unfortunately, the scabbard has clearly been worked on and is absolutely not what you will find on an authentic E&F Hörster HJ-leader dagger.
You can compare it with the original ones shown here in previous posts and find out.
