Hello,
just to introduce myself, I'm a collector of Solingen made knives, mostly hunting knives and knifemaker as well.
Being german, from Hamburg, I'm living in southern Spain.

Hope to find some aditional information about my knives here.

Cheers!

Well, Spain has quite some coastline, in the north, there are world class breaks like Mundaka, Canary islands offer some amazing spots as well.
I'm located in the south, mediterranean, but a 1,5h drive from the atlantic. In winter, there are good waves, in summer, even in the mediterranean you can get some good longboarder waves.
Sorry for the off topic wink

Regards
Nicolas

- No problem with the surfing. I'm right by Long Beach and Jones Beach in NY.. But I'm a terrible surfer compared to my buddies..

For some reason not many US collectors seem to be into the Spanish Civil war items.. They are very hard to find here.........

- So your a German living in Spain.. are you able to find anything nazi there? How about Spanish Civil war items,,see much?? Are there many military collectors there?

Hello,
I'm not into Nazi stuff but I do know some fellow knife collectors who visit all the militaria exhibitions here in Spain and you can find a lot, spanish and german pieces. It seems that in Spain, you treat this dark chapter of history in a more relaxed maner than in germany.
If you're interested, send me a pm and I could give you some contacts.

Regards
Nicolas

Welcome to the forum, surfer. I am Spanish and I also live in the south. My favorite subject of collection, is everything related to the Spanish aviation during the African War, Civil War and World War II of the Spanish pilots and soldiers integrated in the Werhmcht and Luftwaffe. Of course, it includes everything that are white weapons of the time.
Regards

Antonio
