I contacted GDC member M4220 to send the advertisement image of the "Lippert" Waidmesser by Scherping of Hannover in DER DEUTSCHE JAGER, 22 Sep. 1939. M4220 posted on this thread on 31 Jan. 2009. Here is his reply and a photo:

"Thank you, Calvin, don't remember when I posted that inquiry, but I was researching the Lippert Waidblatt knives that were sold from Scherpings shop 1936. There were 12-13 sold I am told. I was able to purchase 1 of the 200 knife replica sets made by Willi Ulrich in Solingen in 1991, a year later I found & was able to purchase 1 of the originals sold from Scherpings shop in 1936. Thank you for the reply.

Note that the replica set has the "Lippert" style Waidmesser as shown in the Sep. 1939 ad and the originals have a scalpel.
