Last week was the famous NYC San Gennaro Feast in Little Italy.. Best not to eat from the night before! Every kind of Italian food was available. The streets closed off and open bars were serving fast and furious!! I only eat sausage & Peppers once a year and wait until this feast. My God they are wonderful! Theres also 'rice nballs',,,every kind of pizza imaginable,,and the sweets are off the charts! Plenty of NYCs finist were there and as usualy nothing for them to do.. A great place to bring the family and fill up for the next couple days!

Good sausage is impossible to find these days, Italian or Polish. I'm sure you have good contacts for both Gas, your the lucky one.

The sausage was excellent Ed... NYCs feast is a week long... Ferrarra's has some of the best cannoli. They make a paste with pistachio nut and mix it in with their cream [green one in photo ],,my God what a wonderful taste!
My wife and I had some grilled octopus that was just excellent too!
