Here are a few Peichel.. Some years ago there was a great drive to say that Don Boyle never knew him.. But Don did. To those close tohim he showed the letters [ pre computer ].!
Some say they are collectable... To me,,they are not. The quality isn't good. The Honor rings were terrible compared to today's copies.. All the rings had some kind of faults on them.. Different strokes for different folks!

Do you mean that Don heard of him or knew him? And what does it mean, knew him or not? People often lie for various reasons, that they have not heard of some famous people, trying to distance themselves from them for some reason. Even from such bad photographs, the rings of the 4th Reich are pure fantasy, very boring

Some might remember,,,,
- Years ago when Don was running this forum, he would say he had letters from him and they wrote back and forth... Some said Don never knew him... But myself, Andy and a few others had seen the stack of letters he had between them both....
Peichl wrote to Don he worked at Gahr briefly and wrote the HR was made with a die! All of Peichls items are cast and not really well done ..... So now we find out the HR was not made from a die according to the last book written.. - Could be Peichl just didn't know what he was looking at!

This guy could have just launched such a story for advertising and increasing the popularity of his products, which everyone bought, that he allegedly worked for Garr. Who can verify this? - no one. State any nonsense, like the story about the number of issued award rings 14,500 and the story about their burial under a collapsed rock. Some dreamer launched it, now this nonsense is walking around the Internet and everyone perceives it as the truth and an axiom))) You shouldn't believe everyone and you should think with your head, and not collect stories, and everything needs to be verified.

You are correct old friend.. Many years ago, there were many false stories about the HR..
In one of Robin Lumsden's early books he states there are probably less than 20 HRs in collections! Don said Peichl wrote to him the HR was die produced,,,,now we all know different.......
As time moves forward some falsehoods get corrected, and some don't.. There are 100s of Dons certifications out there with the HRs.. They are now just a worthless piece of paper........
