Gents,
I know the pics are not quite detailed enough but that’s all I got for the moment. One M33 Hammesfahr and one M36 RZM 1053/39 WKC. To me they look ok at first glance but I would appreciate any views/potential concerns. Thanks

Fotos are poor.
I see no obvious faults and very poor blade conditions. Also a superfluous portepee on the RZM dagger.

The auctioneer unfortunately only allows for on spot examinations and doesn’t provide further pics.

Neither dagger is anything special. The Hammesfahr blade is terrible and the RZM blade not much better. The hanger leather is half rotted.
Stay home. Save your money and find one that is a better one.

Thanks for posting compared to what I see offered at the MAX and SOS these daggers are actually better than average they are not parts daggers the handles appear to be quite nice, better than what is usually encountered the patina is matching and again very nice scabbards appear to be quite nice also the fittings... the portepee is authentic and is a bonus albeit not original to the dagger most likely. The vertical hanger doesn't appear that bad IMO so.....to the blades yes they aren't perfect but again I have seen far worse and one could easily live with both owing to the overall condition of both daggers so it all comes down to price should these end up all in at $2500 for the RZM and $3000 or less for the other then I would consider them well bought if you prefer a better blade as Dave points out then expect to pay $4000 for the RZM and $6000 for a decent maker IMO cheers and best, Ryan
