Hello all......
I have not seen a single SS Himmler Honour Degen offered for sale now for several years! Has someone been buying them all up! Where are they all?

The last one I remember seeing for sale was at the SOS 2 years ago and I believe Brian Maederer had it. I don't remember the name of the recipient or the asking price.

That was one of Waitt's wasn't it Jim. I think I remember the asking price to be north of $200K.

Sorry for the late reply Joe but I just got back home from Thanksgiving. I believe that you're correct about Waitt's and the $200K. I also remember Maederer telling me it was sold but I heard later that the deal had fallen thru.

An old thread, but perhaps someone has someone has heard if the Fritz Weitzel Birthday Sword has ever surfaced. It failed so sell on Manion's Auction over forty years ago.

Joe,

I've not heard anything about that one or any of the others.

It wasn't in the Waitts collection of them. Just wondering. Manion's had it priced at $12,500 starting.
