I'm a sucker for a nice Imperial Navy, the variations are almost endless, if I looked I could probably see something new most days.

Yes, that is a VERY IMPRESSIVE lineup of Imperial marine daggers, Gary!
Maybe you can show us some of the blades?
You never have enough HJ-knifes!

I bought a May 1931 Carl Eickhorn catalog, "DIVERSE SABEL FUR OFFIZIERE, MANNSCHAFTEN POLIZEI UND BEAMTE". The catalog is in German, English, French and Spanish.

I havenever been in WW1 navy daggers in respect f collecting them but they are eá real treat to the eyes. Alone that nearly all (the others are NOT uninteresting!) have ivory grips is a certain feature. Thank you who contribute to show these impressive daggers and the rare catalog. Regards,

C. Wetzel-20609 Good to see a few people buy catalogs as this is one in the series for export catalogs that are always for sale on eBay (of course some countries rarer than others)...There are also other variations to these reed bundle top daggers with Imperial style cross guard. Eickhorn made at least 2 different models (two different model numbers also) most made for export and domestic use ??? 1st shows up in a ca.1903 Eickhorn export catalog. I have at least 37 different 1930-31-32 Eickhorn catalogs for export.
