Hi one and all I'd just like to share what I've been up to recently, I decided to get some stuff framed, but it was too expensive, so I decided to have ago myself, so here is my attempt at framing my Iron Cross 2nd class with packet of issue.
I found a nice picture of a kriegsmarine sailor wearing his so i printed it out to help fill in some space, I'm waiting for a small brass plate with all the details on to finish it off.
This was a veteran bring back and was an unissued award. Cheers Cameron[Linked Image][Linked Image][Linked Image][Linked Image][Linked Image][Linked Image]

Nice job framing. You can do alot with picture ,etc frames and not end up spending a ton of money. A store where I live called Hobby Lobby has alot of neat stuff you can use.

Hi Luftbud, thanks for the comment, I'll post some newer pictures when the brass plate arrives
Theres a framing shop not far from where I live and they wanted stupid money to do it, so it's cost me about £24.00 for the frame and about £9.99 for the brass plate, everything else was just laying about the house, I'm fairly happy with the result so far
I'm doing another one soon, more to follow.
Cheers Cameron

Nice display. Well balanced.
You might want to consider non glare glass for your next project. smile
