I just picked up this WW2 German Late War Ersatz K98 Bayonet Frog. What are they worth? I'm curious. Thanks, all info. welcome. Pix to follow. Thanks Dutchman.

One would think this frog would spark at least a few responses. I have been to a lot of military shows to include the SOS and Ohio show, but can not remember seeing one of these before, and I look at a lot of German bayonets.
It is a odd looking frog, I am sure someone has seen one before, or knows the story of it.

Looks like someone took an Afrika Korps tropical frog and replaced the lower portion with leather.
