Well... it is an original partial Röhm with a good part of the name remained intact, which is rarely seen!

I guess the original owner was not to eager to erase it and did not do a very good job.

I cannot see if it is the "small double oval round tail" or the " small double oval serrated tail" Eickhorn mark?

Both are correct anyway.

What I do not see are the enhanced grooves on the guards or the thicker throat piece we look for on Eicks.

I have observed a lot of variety when it comes to the groves on the guards of Eickhorn Röhm daggers, Dave.
