When I run across any of these "Swastika /Good Luck Symbol" items and it's unique I like to pick it up. Not sure what to do with a coat rack or coat tree but I found a use for it. Nice bit of hand forged Americana. Should hold a few items! Bret Van Sant

No not going to paint it just leave the old patina on it. May put some felt on the 4 feet that's about all. Ed the serial number comes back as a 1972.or a 73 forgot it's been awhile. Sorry. Close but no cigar. I'm not a big Gerber collector. The guy had a few US pieces some stuff in the wrap still so I bought them all this was just in the mix. Too nice to sell. Most of it was Air Force related stuff.
