Today I picked up this SS Arm band. Did they ever sew in the RZM tag to the inside? Or is this a red flag? UV neg.No glow. All info welcome. Thanks again Dutchman.

Dutch, all originals,,,they were sewn in .. This tag and stitching looks weird. I might have photos of my old one in my files, I'll take a look..

Well I'm wrong,,,some had paper tags . But the most of them were cloth and sewed in a bit better that yours..
I took a photo off the net. Here is a 100% example... The no glow on the white is good.. The rest of the materials look good too.. Is your tag printed or stitched though??
Hopefully someone can weigh in for a confirmation....

Dutchman just a couple of things I see 1) the number 3 2) the circles around the ss runes the inner circle isn't complete 3) the stitching to the arm band. Gaspare pic is a good example to compare to. If you can find them on you tube there were two videos done on these and paper ss tags last year. I cannot say if it's real or fake someone with better knowledge will have to go that direction.

Went to a old friends house last night. He was a big SS cloth collector years ago..
Luftbuds on the money.. Those circles have to be complete.. - 2nd, The later armbands had paper RZMs in them.. - The early had the cloth [sometimes 2] and 100% they were stitched.
So in the least your tag is fake... I'd go with Luftbuds idea on the utube search you'll probably find all your answers.. - Please, let us know your findings!

I'll see if I can get this pic up for some reason I can't get the picture to appear. Go to germaninternational.com page 38 Allegemeine-SS Armband with Label (Item SS 38-16) To get here you;ll have to click on Third Reich and go through there little agreement stuff. This is the best I have able to find , there are a few with paper tags hope this helps. Also hope you can get through to the site okay. Bud

,,,,,,man you got to be real careful on G.I. !! anyway.. Don't like that last one posted 123/40,,its printed.. Yeah, SS cloth is more than a minefield.! Its just terrible how good the reproductions are. I always say,,'its not brain surgery.' Faking stuff like this must be so easy now days.. I lost most of my library in a couple floods a few years ago... Doesn't any of the members have the SS cloth books out there? We have some sort of collectors library here on GDC. Vern did a lot of work on it.. just not sure how to access it

Yeah this was all I could find through online dealers. SS is not my thing, I don't have any SS reference books to go to. Not making any excuses ,do know about G,I, and fakes and some other big time dealers. Just trying to help and learn along the way. Bud

Well I'm sure you had regular wool party armbands.. IF the wool is the same,, and the disc like this [and black stripes] then you'd be ok..
BUT for me, that RZM gotta come off of it....
