Can you post a picture of the crossguard? i can't see any details. The scabbard is not a Pack one and has been swapped along the years.

Hello OWN should this look like a damast blade??? Regards, I'll check tomorrow but I don't think so. No I confirme Regards Hello, thank you for checking and your answer. So may I repeat just for understanding, you buy or have bought the items you show in this form just for your personal fun, because you like such items, how they look like. You are aware, that there is no true historical background and nearly no collector´s value. You do show them here also just for your fun and for fun of other members? I ask because I have had the first impression that members that answered in your threads thought you look for any judgement if your items are original, period manuactured or not in regard of historical artefacts and collector´s value. BTW the crossguard is a WKC one. Regards,
wotan, gd.c-b#105

Well that WKC one has a generic scabbard and is a parts dagger as well as the pack is, 2 put together pieces with no collectors value. Ger

They may not have genuine collector value but they do have value in the sum of their parts they are in relatively decent condition so as entry level collector pieces they are fine (EP&S blade aside) it all depends what you paid for them and they may satisfy both you and your collection until you locate the truly "textbook" examples. No one likes to hear the negative, new and seasoned collectors alike....it is sometimes in how the message is delivered that makes it more palatable........ cheers and best, Ryan

I am not an expert, just a dabbler.
