The dagger is original.. The scabbard was repainted before 1945....with the transition to the NSКК building...A state of fatigue from life!!

Woodsy,
It is all correct from what I see. Well worn and repainted scabbard, but a nice Tiger. Good on you, as we said in NSW.

I can't answer that one from experience. Too few daggers sold there, at least that I have seen mentioned. In addition, there are laws preventing the import of double edged knives without permits and also the exchange rate of US$1=A$1.58. I'm thinking maybe $800-$900 here so A$1300 - A$1450 in Australia. The premium for a dagger in Toowoomba ? No idea Dave

The dagger is original.. The scabbard was repainted before 1945....with the transition to the NSКК building...A state of fatigue from life!! It's an original early SA-blade by Tiger, that I agree about. But that the scabbard paint (to NSKK) is pre 1945, that is impossible to determine from those pictures.
