Hello.

I am researching a Deers Foot Hunting Knife which I also understand were used by German soldiers in WW1. The blade has a stamp and manufacturer that I cannot find any trace of online. Can any of our expert members assist with who made this knife.

many thanks in advance.

Now confirmed this is a French deer's foot hunting knife, likley early 20th Century, with a handle having nickel silver mounts, the blade marked 'A OROSDI'
